Here's a sampling of the kinds of things we've done at LI ACM SIGGRAPH:

• A behind-the-scenes tour of Acclaim Entertainment's Motion Capture Studio. This was a big success, a chance to see equipment, talk with the animators and preview good things to come. Most important, it was an exclusive LI ACM SIGGRAPH event-if you weren't with us, you missed out. Special thanks to the good folks at Acclaim for their hospitality.
  
  
• "The Making of Toy Story 2". Members of the creative team from Pixar Studios came to Long Island and gave us a behind-the-scenes look at the production of this award-winning animated feature. They showed slides and videos, answered questions¡Ka great time was had by all, and we attracted an audience of more than 200 spectators.
  
  
• The Electronic Theater tapes from SIGGRAPH 2000 New Orleans. This free showing spotlighted some of the world's best computer animation.

And of course, there were meetings¡Kfun and informative evenings you could have been part of.
